Oh the irony. This morning I had what looked to be a perfectly legitimate email from ADCA. Even had return address. It was some sort of document delivery, like drop box, only I think it was Docubox or something on that order. I paused for a few seconds and laughed that ADCA would send me something like that and think that I would open it. The fact that there was no data that precluded it or with it, told me it was not what it appeared. I didn't open the email. Nor did I delete it, but it seems to be like the mission impossible tape and removed itself for it is no longer in my mail box.
I've since been told there are spam emails out there like this which will place a virus on your computer if you open them so beware.
Here's the thing. Where did all the ADCA email addresses come from? My first thought was they had hacked a regional director's email. I am guessing we are not in the same regional area, so it probably would then be they hacked someone in ADCA who has all the emails, perhaps past and present because I am not a current member of ADCA. Anyone who has an ADCA membership list with emails in their address book should be cautious and see if they have been hacked or have a virus.
