The historical and rare UK herd books 1900 - 1945 are entered complete now, along with the Irish connections. Thanks to Nico Steintjes, the Netherlands registrar who not only was able to locate the last two herdbooks needed, (1924 and 1930) but also entered them in the World Registry,
At the time the project began, 1946 was the earliest year available in the UK records.

my stuff is still packed. I think you were missing some random years. Is this still true? I have to sort my stuff and get it organized to pass on before I croak, I'm still willing to provide the info to you. c.

I would very much like to find a copy of Irish herd book 14. It only has minimal Dexters, but they are timely ones to the US.
thanks Carol.

I don't have the Irish #14, but I'll bet if you contacted the Royal Dublin Society, and asked nicely, they'd copy it for you and attach it to an email.
Nico was telling me I could check the extended pedigree of some of his animals for him (we're working on a little project) by accessing your legacy database, but I couldn't find the animals in either the us or international files. What am I doing wrong?
cheers, c.

They are in the World section. Netherlands is the registry I believe. Type in owner Steintjes and see if that gets you there.
