I like his philosophy. He was way ahead of the current curve. Breeders should read his articles on building a herd from within and linebreeding. And the book by Jim Lents

He's on my winter's reading list. Right after the Temple Grandin Santa brought me.

I think that his article on minerals is so important. . . . especially for new owners who may also be quite new to raising livestock. . . . that a copy ( with permission of Mr. Fry) is included in every packet that goes out to anyone new to Legacy.
