We celebrated Thanksgiving today. The grandkids all had snotty noses on Turkey Day, so we had to cancel.
We got up early this morning and began putting everything together and cooking. It was finished and we headed for the grandkids, with Powder, the World's Greates Pretty Good Dog in the back, guarding the food.
We had an outdoor affair, trying not to catch anything. Powder was a big hit! At one time she had 3 kids trying to hold onto her leash.
It may have been late, but it was fun!
I thought about all of you, who were wishing evryone else a happy Thanksgiving. I just had to tell you how well we took your wishes and made them come true.
Even the new calf made us happy. Bambina and Punkin were right up at the barn when we got home. We threw the Dexters a square bale to hold them until morning.
I'm tired, but happy.
