WHAT IS THIS and HOW DO I GET RID OF IT?
A couple days ago I was looking at Google maps/ and tried to go to Google Earth. I got a message to download a link for GE. I did that. After that, I lost my Google task bar, and all the Icons which loaded below it for most used sites. They were replaced by icons for Yahoo, Walmart, Amazon, Target, and a few others.
When I open a new tab in my Chrome browser, it immediately loads the above quoted URL. And in the lower right hand of my screen I get pop-up ads which say, " Maps Frontier Ads" below the video. Today the icons for the other sites were replaced with two large icons for "creat PDF" or "creat DOC". and then after a bit they fade to Amazon deals.
This is so frustrating! I am so tired of being constantly barraged with unwanted advertising and spam and cons! I'd be willing to pay for internet without all this garbage but it would be JUST like TV! ! ! ( Remember way back in 1993 when they started charging for TV sites on satellite? The US government added another lie to their long list of broken promises when they told us. . . . . . we would NEVER have to watch commercials on these services we would pay to receive on our TV's. ( Which later switched from satellites to cable).
See. . . .told you I was cranky!

Judy, you'll have to go to your installed programs (settings, apps, etc...) and then sort by most recent. The program will probably be at the top of the list that pops up. You have to be really careful when downloading or installing programs, because they're pretty sneaky about saying that they're going to install some kind of toolbar, etc... and you have to uncheck the box or even sometimes hit the button that says "no". Worse case scenario, you can go to system recovery and pick a date that is closest to when the changes occurred, and it will put you computer back to the condition it was in on that day.

I go so aggravated by the darn pop ups I emailed google! And I sent a note to the popups site and told them to STOP annoying me. I do not know how, or where I found it or where it came from but I was able to clear it all somehow through google. Dag-gone frustrating.
Kirk is over on FB page spewing more of his anti-Dexter nonsense and propaganda. How dreadful it must be to own a field of zircons when you so desperately crave diamonds.

The initial problem is not present . .. . . but my computer does seem much slower. Is there an easy cure for something lurking in the files? Before windows 8 and upwards you could just go to Explorer and remove all cookies but I do not know how to remove cookies on Windows 10 ! !
