This looks like it could come in handy! It won't replace solid high tensile wire enclosures, but to temporarily contain your critters , I can see some real advantages. It's called "Smartfence", I checked around here and it costs about $200., add the neato portable battery pack for anotherC-note. I had a chance to try this out in person. It worked ok, but was a bit cumbersome. I suppose if you have calves you also want to contain, or have an area with absolutely no perimeter fence it's a good option. Since our cows and bulls are so well trained to single hot wire, we could do a similar setup with pigtail step ins, polywire on the reel, and, at least for a while, no charger! In fact, a week ago I forgot to turn on the switch to a group of 50 for 4 days while they were strip grazing. None of them ducked or jumped the line

Was that lately? they mentioned improvements... sounds like your animals are well enough trained you could set up mylar ribbon and they'd respect it! Good show!
