I am thrilled to see competition growing against Facebook and Twitter. Sites like Gab, and MeWe and others should be supported by those who believe in free speech and ideas. Think about the power being invested in TWO men and TWO companies.

I still prefer the group discussion sites. I can search through thousands of posts to find a subject. Topics can be kept for newbies to read without having to post everything anew every few weeks.
I like being able to provide someone a link to come view the collections of Dexter horns that are stored here on this site.

I agree I like groups like this better. The only drawback to groups like this is it's harder to post pictures and less people are using them these days.

I have ceased using FB. I have not deleted accounts but am preparing to do so. Their lack of concern for the privacy rights of the members, the censoring, the abuse of personal information they have sold and even turned over to government entities. . .. . . .. .
This weekend I heard a portion of the Kim Komando show. ( Computer guru) I was surprised to hear her say she deleted FB accounts. She has a very large following, so I was surprised about this, but the more who do the better!
These platforms who do not respect individuals or their rights will hopefully also see huge descreases in use and members.
So many intelligent Americans with ideas. . .. . . .. surely they can devise a better way that respects the rights of Americans.
