Those who wore masks were given 50 disposable masks and asked to change them after 8 hours of use. No “statistically significant” results were obtained between those wearing masks and the control group – (i.e. those not wearing.) Danish study clinicaltrials.gov/ct2/show/NCT04337541

enjoy it while you can, the new incoming president plans to make a federal mandatory mask ruling, I understand, to help curb the spread, along with handwashing and social distancing, no details as yet. Any fool can see that without a mask, breath spreads at least five feet, and coughs and sneezes have been recorded at 16 feet. With a mask, it's more like 3-5" and maybe a foot. Just think of those cold days when you can see your breath if you have trouble with this. Definitely safer for others, and if you don't like inhaling your own germs, at least their yours and not someone else's.
The virus is on the rampage worldwide, but the US has the worst record of any country. Nice to know someone at the helm cares. c.

All of these protocols have been in place in the US and around the world for over 9 months. Along with lockdowns. Yet, by your own admission the spread expands.
isn’t it time to ask ........perhaps masks are the problem and not the solution? Perhaps people take more risks because they feel protected, (when repeatedly science says they are not,p, that the virus can pass most of the masks. If no one had on a mask, would a Walmart be overflowing with shoppers as it has been on my last two visits? (Sans mask).
It is all about politics. SPIT

speaking of coolaid...
it's the politically franchised, under educated conspiracy theorists who refuse to distance, refuse to take precautions, and happily stand shoulder to shoulder who seem to be spreading it. I go everywhere with a spray tube of sanitizer, and a container of wipes in the house by the front door, in the car, and a small baggie of them in my purse, and wipe down door handles, grocery carts, only handle what I intend to buy, wear a mask when out and about, and don't travel when advised not to. I'm not alone. Here we have 31 active cases and around 130 in total since March. You figure out the difference.
