Our young bull Knobley Wallace is sold and will soon be going to his new home in MD to start a brand new Dexter Herd. The new owners have fallen in love with him; his sweet personality and his small size. They are very excited about the breed and about their new horned shorty bull.

Good for you and Knobley too! Maybe you can get the new owners to join this forum , so we can see him grow up!

Yes, Lonecowhand. That would be so neat. I will definitely be inviting them to join us. I am so lucky, he will be growing up just a short ride away, and I will be able to visit and watch him grow up.

No No No. Little Macklynn ( our traditional red) is down in the pasture with his mama playing around and growing up. He is our special little guy, and will be staying here with us as our herd bull.
We've been so busy getting everything set up for him here. And now with Wallace sold and the additions of Gene's two beautiful heifers; we have the foundation of our herd all set.

Very, very cool. You scored there on the Paradise heifers! We'll all be looking to you for Traditional Red in a couple of years. Have you any more recent photos of Macklynn?

Yes, We'll be having some beautiful little reds and red carriers running around here soon. What fun!!! And we'll be having them available too for Traditional Breeders who PROMISE to help and keep them in the preservation project. I'll have to get some more but this is one I took of him showing off his new horns. He's very proud of 'em.

He looks like he's getting plenty of good milk to go with his hay. Nice, well rounded body.

Yes, he is a chunky little fellow, and growing like a weed. Caitlyn looks beautiful and is a good mama.
