Judy, It sounds like the new vice president of the PDCA is thinking the same as you were when you initiated the similar voluntary testing back in 2006. Hopefully this program will attract more breeders and make it a truly workable system.
I find myself constantly explaining how to find the Dexters that have test results available for public view. Hopefully this attempt will make all that information easily available to everyone.

I admire how the PDCA is working on these things, however I believe it would be more productive to institute a classification system. The genetic tests won't provide much information until the number of animals tested reach a level that will provide a good statistical comparison (If you even put much faith in the testing). However, classification can provide immediate feedback and results that breeders can use to improve their herds.
