At The @ohiopress forum, I was the ONLY candidate not vaxed. I have no issue with those who are vaxed but I found it interesting that every other candidate, who answered, was vaxed or unwilling to answer the question. #OHSen t.co/vZgSQtP8sw

“I’ve lived the American dream,” said Pukita, in an interview with the Gazette.
Pukita’s grandparents were both coal miners in Northeast Pennsylvania, he said. “Both had outhouses when they were kids.”
Pukita grew up in a middle-class home, before attending Ohio State and graduating with honors with a bachelor’s degree in engineering in 1981.
After 15 years of working for others, he formed his own company, Fast Switch Ltd- Now Revel IT Inc., and built it to near $100 million in annual revenue before selling off all but the East Coast market to his two partners in 2019.

“Ohioans are tired of career politicians. They’re tired of people who are establishment, who are shoved down their throat by the Ohio Republican Party.
We committed to the people of Ohio that we would leave Ohio better than we found it, which means trying to do good things along the way.”
This involves helping citizen candidates run for school board, and working to stop Ohio Republican Party primary endorsements, which he says provides a candidate with money, staff, and most importantly a spot on the Ohio Republican Primary slate card.
It’s got to stop. The people need to pick the candidate in the primary,” he said.
“I’m going to serve, not prosper.
I’ve already stated before that I’ll donate everything to charity, including book deals and speaking fees for the rest of my life, I’m a citizen candidate who understands their issues because I am one of them, and unlike people in Washington, I’m willing to fight because I don’t care what the media or the insiders have to say about me,” he said. “I’m loud, and I understand policy. I’m not corrupt, I know how to get the job done, and I’m willing to do it for free.”
