The videos we’re seeing from Canada are heart-rending because they represent true expressions of the desire for freedom and liberty. One of the hard facts of socialism is that freedom and liberty die under socialism. This has always been the case throughout history. Socialism has always lied to us about its utopian future—it’s about power and the total control of individual lives. The Canadian truckers understand this. The Canadian people lining the roadways know this. After a long dark period of doubt I think we are seeing a glimmer of hope. GO TRUCKERS!!!

Friday, the Truckers had yielded their positions at Couttes, Windsor bridge and the other entry points on US/Canadian border.
They had manuevered their trucks out of the residencial areas, consolidating them in around Parliament hill.
That was the ONLY territory they held.
Tonite, they still hold that territory, with hundreds of trucks, having ‘lost’ 12-20, and with some truckers and protesters arrested but being released.
But, they now have large convoys packed in around provincial government districts, in Quebec, Montreal, Toronto,, all the provincial capitals.
And, as in Ontario, each is surrounded by ‘human shields’ of protesters, willing to be arrested, take tear gas if needed, to protect the Truckers.
Who needs to block the ports of entry, when you have the whole friggin country?
And all, with thank God, no casualties,..Truedope once again has it demonstrated he got into a battle of wits, where he is totally outgunned.
In 3 weeks, they have gone from non-existent, to a powerful Worldwide Movement, that has twice raised $10M, is feeding the homeless and keeping crime out of the city (now cities) even shoveling the sidewalks,..and shaking the foundations of Western governments.
Just IMAGINE what can be accomplished in 2 years!

ahhh, you've been watching those right wing conspiracy sources.
Started out as valid protest by truckers against vaccine requirements but got hijacked by a bunch of nutso people who were seriously ignorant. They thought a list of signatures was enough to topple the government, AND that the Gov.Gen'l (a mostly ceremonial position who represents the English Queen's interests) had the legal right to dissolve Parliament and fire the Prime Minister. None of it true. He does get to dissolve Parliament but ONLY when the Prime Minister asks him to. They also wanted to get rid of the current government, have the Gov. Gen'l take over with the Senate AND let them be involved in running the country. AND they thought the US First Amendment applied to Canada, too...But if you repeat a lie often enough and have enough people who refuse to think for themselves or check out sources, that level of stupidity is what you get.
If you think masks don't work, try living in a cold part of the country and see the difference between breathing out into the air, and breathing through a scarf. Masks are more to protect others from you (if you have Covid and don't know it) than they are a protection for yourself: a 'protecting the tribe' issue, not a personal one. I have no immune system left (chemo), so if I get Covid, I'll be dead in 48 hours. I have a vested interest in not being around people who won't comply to keep me safe and could care less about me because it's all about them.
If they think wearing a mask violates their personal 'rights', maybe they should just drive right through stop signs and stop wearing seat belts. Same idea, keeps everyone safe(r).
At least that's my high IQ informed take on things. c.
PS: Emergency Act rescinded as soon as truckers and protesters were gone from downtown Ottawa, and all monies have been unfrozen, except for the few leaders who were trying to convince the crowd to overthrow the gov't. They are in jail and have not been granted bail. Their hearings come up in March.
