In the FB thread I posted, ADCA member Jim Triewasser said the following:
Mr. Triebwasser was a candidate for ADCA BOD and I do NOT know who was elected. The members in his region may have lost an opportunity to have a great representative who appears to think for himself if he was not. . . because. . . .for the most part. .. . . once elected ADCA leaders become sheep. I don't know if they have to swear an oath or what. . . . but goodness they become part of the problem immediately versus part of the solution! And this is not just my opinion. I know someone who says the director in that region acts terrified of doing something the board wouldn't approve. One of my complaints for years is the secrecy. Minutes? They do NOT publish real time minutes. Do they keep them? They do NOT publish a record of which Director votes on which motion. Is that ludicrous? You have no idea if your Director is representing your region according to the views of the majority. And they WILL NOT tell you. Before 2004 members had rights and a say. In everything. NOW. . . members have NO rights. Everything was written OUT of the rules and regulations and a very divisive ones written in. Doubt me? Get copies of the R&R previous to 2004 and get a copy from . . say 2009.
They gave themselves dictatorial power. Or haven't you noticed?
Mr. Triebwasser seems to have a sixth sense with his "influential" question and following comment. If he didn't get elected. . . . .maybe next time. He will not be kindly favored for daring to question those "influential" people he has picked up on who just might have a different agenda than they are telling their constituents.
Perhaps someone with legal knowledge of non-profits can confirm or deny my suspicion that meetings/minutes are suppposed to be recorded in real time and precisely according to what was said and took place.
You do NOT get the full story in the Bulletin. . . . . ..and you should. Verbatim.

Jim Triebwasser: Help me out. How many known cases of falsified obligate status are recorded every year? I don't know if this is a major issue or just an idea from somebody influential. So little is shared and assumptions are sure to be made. The BOD need to be more transparent on this.
