Thanks Hans. I need to talk to Judy anyway want to get our bull calf tested before I decide to steer him or not. If your interested Nancy well be there around 3 months starting Feb 24 -25 . She will be involved in the third group to evaluate Ketamine nasal spray for medication of depression. Bea and I will have to eat each others cooking and that could be interesting. Being from the Philippines she loves sardines in mustard sauce, see weed, caramel flan and ect.

David,
I wrote you a few days ago. I hope it was in time. .. but I doubt it. I would have recommended your wife get a room in old town Bethesda and ask people who work at NIH about the area. I know the DC area well. My husband was a retired DC Firefighter and had to know all the hydrant locations and routes and I used to help him learning those. Of course that was ages ago. . . but I also went into DC to various areas for various reasons over the years.
When we first moved to this area we lived in Arlington, across the road from Ft. Myer and I would ride the bus into DC and walk several blocks from PA avenue into what they call "Foggy Bottom" to get to work. Later I worked at GW Univ and drove there from Maryland. I had family in Arlington, Falls Church, Alexandria and as far away as Stafford Va which is reaching down to Fredericksburg so visiting and shopping gave me a knowledge of those areas. I "used" to have almost a photographic memory and still remember things in photos, but aspertame ( truism) did a number on me. I have rode the subway for errends and for "fun". Every line. I love to explore. My curiosity has no end.
If I were working at NIH I would look for a place in old town Bethesda. It is a quaint neighborhood, with sufficient shopping and restaurants and right on the subway. Could be pricey, but then. . .. so are parts of No. Va. I would probably prefer to commute from north of NIH then from the Virginia side although the Capital Beltway around Old Georgetown Rd, Wisconsin Avenue and Connecticut avenue are a nightmare. That bad dream extends even more so on the Virginia side because every single car coming into Maryland on the western side has only one bridge to cross. On the Maryland side you can find various ways to avoid traffic jams. The metro area is not a fun place to be during peak rush hour no matter where you live.
