Bears and livestock

I was talking with a friend yesterday who told me that her young granddaughter's goat (4-H project) had been killed/taken by a bear.  This happened with 2 outside dogs on the property.  Thought I'd pass it on with all the little calves coming this time of year.

We call our area THE EXOTIC ANIMAL DROP ZONE we near main highways and
have encountered All types of cats exept lion and even had a alligator
killed on the road on time. But no bears yet.
