I have a cow right now that has similar horns, Colorado Daisy. I've been meaning to put her photo in the horns gallery. Another cow with those turned back horns is Belardo's Red Lady. ( I heard she has been sold by the way). Could we trace those horns via mitachondrial DNA all the way back to Rosemary, a very early Dexter from Ireland and the first I recall seeing with the turned back horns? Judy

That's a really intriguing thought Judy! One could use mitochondrial DNA to establish clear lines to those celebrated early cows. Rosemary is (was) a beautiful cow, and I love her white udder. Does Colorado Daisy have any white?
