In a nearby town south of me, the Amish community rents a vacant grocery building and on Thursday through Saturday they come to town with their wares. They have individual areas inside where some sell fresh baked bread and pies, ( baked on site), another has a furniture business, there is a butcher with beef and pork, and another with chicken and turkeys, a large vegetable stand, candy corner, deli with potato salads and meat salads and puddings, and two that serve food. While there last week I took a photo at the meat counter. I asked the young Amish girl if the meat was grass fed/finished but she said it was corn finished, no antibiotics or hormones. There was a line so I didn't proceed with more specific questions. I intended to take more photos along the counter but a phone call came in and I walked away and then never made it back. Here is the photo that I took. Judy
