I'm actually all ready to go to this year's ADCA AGM. I sent in my registration form for the Friday banquet. I booked a room at the host hotel for Friday night. I'll fill the tank of my truck and leave bright and early Friday morning to get there in time for the shows.
I want to find a good seat to hear Hans's presentation on rotational grazing.
I think that Clem and Carole Niroski will be there to show Adam One. I don't want to miss that.
Who else can I expect to see there? I'm dying to meet as many of you guys as I can.
This is the first AGM that I've been able to attend. I'm kind of excited.

Gene you need to use Mrs. Solamons oxen to go. The horns on them were unbelievable. You can see the picture on O V D B .

Well, because the weather doesn't resemble May at all here and the deadline is a day or two from now, I haven't gotten off any of the information off to bring any of our cows or calves down, so Sheril and I will be traveling in our little red sports car Or we may just rent a car for a few days and put the miles on that instead; sometimes it's cheaper. I'd be less likely to get tickets going through Ohio too. Looking forward to seeing you all down there!

Adam placed 2nd in his class at the Ohio Valley show this past weekend and we were pleased. Although now the pressure is on to do well in front of you Gene...lol. We have a few weeks to practice, I'm not sure who needs it more the animals or the trainers. Blessings is correct about Vicki Solomon's oxen team, they were impressive and she inspired more than a few people at the show so we may see more oxen teams popping up in the near future. Looking forward to seeing everyone at the AGM!

It will be kind of nice to take a road trip and be unencumbered by a trailer!

I'm going. I will be staying at the Hampton Inn Friday night only. I will arrive early Friday and depart late Saturday.
I hope I can meet every one of you in that time. Carry a rose between your teeth or something.
I will be wearing a Paradise Farm T-shirt and ball cap. One like in the fly attractant picture, only without the cup and tanglefoot.

The Hampton was full. We got a room at the Holiday inn. It will be a long trip for us. Current plan is to drive out Wednesday and Thursday. Drop our trailer at Judys in WV and be at the agm Thursday night. Leave Sunday morning pickup cows at Judy's and drive back Sunday and Monday. Something over a 2000 mile trip. Look forward to see you all. Hans where are you staying?

I'll probably sleep in the car...lol. I haven't made any plans yet. How far away are you from Harrisonburg Gene? We'll probably drive down Thursday evening and leave late on Saturday.

It is a 3 hour drive from Harrisonburg to Paradise Farm. I'll leave around 6:00 on Saturday, unless there is something really worth staying later for.
