Here is a photo I took today of Louise and her twin boys, Mike and Louis. One long leg and one short leg. Louise is trying hard to keep up with their nutritional requirements, and doing a great job, but she's steadily losing weight on grass alone. We're starting to supplement her feed now, and try to keep her condition up. I suspect these two will be weaned at 5 months, rather than the 7-9 months that we prefer. We're also holding off breeding her. Louise is 14 years old and a dwarf Dexter. We have her with the heifers right now, and she will be AI'd with Shaun Lord's bull Ferdinand shortly. www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=10204678862151629&set=p.10204678862151629&type=1

Those boys are sucking her dry! Looks to be asking a lot of her.
Didn't you have Macey's horns bobbed back some?

Yes, we had about 1-1/2" sawn off the tips. It was no problem for her at all. She has a couple of years before it will need to be done again, I think.
