Our area has had a sever loss in ag. this year as of now . Corn is 6" yellow to 6' green in same field and beans are 3" to 1 1/2' tall in same fields and canoping over. Concer is ground may not dry with no sun and wind to the bottom. Being self employed I have a mixed felling here. With farmer here paying up to $19,000 a acre and over millions setting in equip. in barns I feel they need to be edutacted but the ag. also drives our economy and I hate to see anyone have grief. The one thing that does directly efect me now is the hay issue. Some people did get 1st. cut but most have lost thier fields the clover has actually died and they say they will tear up and plant wheat in fall. Most say they will only get one cutting. Very little straw got bailed and the wheat in the fields now is sprouting and moulding too.
