 Be new to Dexters I would like to track some history . Searching pedegrees is very time consuming
so I hope the knowlage from here can help . How did they orriginate and what is the best example
today .
 Colorado 
 Old Orchard
 Peerlees
 Woodmagic
 Windridge
 o'Briar Hill
 If I understand correctly U. S. and Canadian herds started from 3 or 4 imports and I
have tidbits from these to mine . Question is what fist herds started these 6 herds ?

well you could probably wright a book on that. 
Peerless herd was assembled from those first US imports. The Colorado herd still exist today of which I am continuing on part of that herd. was made up of only peerless and grinstead animals.
