Cindy Williams has imported semen from an English bull, Canwell Sooty, DCS registration number 05957. Cindy tested and registered Canwell Sooty in the Legacy Registry ( LEG1890 - entered with his country and registry of origin registration number) and his extended pedigree can be found online recorded in the Legacy online pedigree. She relates that straws are available now $75 each and stored at Hawkeye. Here's the photo of Canwell Sooty. He is a non-carrier Chondro and PHA. No info as to beta casein just yet. Judy Attachments:

Hi Judy, I assume since you are showing him, his pedigree passes the muster!

Hi Cowhand,
Sorry - tardy reply. Technically no. ADCA requires a 62 animal clear pedigree and I think he made it by one line. He does have an appendix upgrade. Cindy Williams tested through Legacy and sent me a photo and semen information to give out. . . Finding anything in England without appendix is a bit of a miracle . . though their preservation effort has added some animals in the past five years.

I was looking at the photo again. How tall would you guess him to be?

I'll bet 42 inches, but it's kind of a "worms eye view" camera perspective.

There is nothing in the picture to use as a frame of reference, so his height cannot be told. Hopefully it's between 38 and 44 inches.
