Started training the bulls for the Ohio show last weekend. People always ask how to halter train. So I took a video of day one. I pushed him a little faster than I would like but I was recording it and I had 4 bulls to do in a couple of hours. By the end he was Ok with being tied and quietly eating his hay. It is 18 minute long in real time. That is how long it took from coral to happily eating hay being tied. I will continue to video his progress.

Good video, Mike! You sure have pace and determination. ( your cameraman , too!) He was swinging those horns around at one point! At 8:08 there was a long low moo , was that him complaining at you, or background noise?
Thanks for this. A video is much more helpful than talking about it.

No I think that was one of the other bulls that was outside of the coral wanting to come in. He wasnt trying to hurt me with those horns just normal result to being tied for the first time. Of course be cautious of where you are but he was not swinging with force. I did have to make extra holes in the halter strap and I did not use a big enough nail to melt the holes that is what took me so long to get it fastened but he stood real still while I did it.
