Got to the barn and found a new dun heifer. She is out of Shea and Suprise . The group is in the Pasture all doing well . Loaded pic. on Trad. Dexter fb page. Even Suprise seems to be helping .

Good morning, and congratulations! Another "Surprize". LOL
Did you sell the Dexters you had available at the Ohio show? Did anyone? I am curious . . . . . it seems to me the Dexter market is cold in the east.

I sold Floie and her hiefer to a local family before the show . To my shock and most others there was not even one bid on any cattle . Chad had a very nice bull on auction too . I have had plenty of interest but most dont want to even pay meat price . What is up with that a 3 year old cow of any breed should be worth more than $500.00 . Found three local families raising Dexters and they call now . One will breed to Suprise before he is butchered this fall . The other is to be AI to breen . I am putting my hopes one Bullseye (bull calf from Breen and Lucy ) He is a lively chuck of a calf . You will get tail hairs soon then we will know the genetic side .
