Homefront Candy Cane is out of NSF Almond Joy by Jams Castle Christmas. She is Legacy registered horned (dehorned), black, may carry red (some possibility of dun) A2/A2, chondro positive. Dam is in your pocket friendly, nice udder after one lactation, teats a little small for hand milking, but workable. She gave 3/4 to 1 gallon milking OAD and sharing with the calf. Christmas is everything a bull should be, he produces offspring with nice udders, he has great feet. No interest in people unless they are carrying a food bucket, get the job done kind of guy. Candy is halter trained, friendly and will come to us in the field (a little shy around strangers) she looks like she is going to have a little longer teats than her mom.
