Cows received their spring vaccinations and flytags this morning! Very glad to get all that done. They are ready for summer!

Hi Gene, nope, no calves! No bulls = no calves, lol! Still have the Windridge heifer for sale though. Hope all is well with you!

I think the market has tanked. It has been flooded with everything that hit the ground and mooed !
I had a gentleman in central Virginia right to me who had placed an ad in the central Virginia area and there was no interest.
I have heard this from several breeders.

I need to order some livestock items and was browsing the pages of the Jeffers livestock catalog, which also covers poultry. Page, . .. . after page. . . . . after page. Full of chemical pharmaceuticals of one kind or another. Probably 3/4 or more of the catalog was selling some type of chemical concoction.

Yes, I know. However, I order Chlorhexidine (gallon) from them and even with shipping, I pay less at Jeffer's than when I get it from the vet's office. Believe it or not, I use it in water to brush a donkey's teeth every morning. She's 27, her teeth are in bad shape, and I use two soft toothbrushes dipped in the mixture and then squirt a 30ml syringe to rinse her mouth. She has her teeth floated every 6 months!!! Other than that, she's perky and seems happy with her Equine Senior because she has difficulty chewing hay.
I'm sure you needed to know all of that, right? LOL!
